Dr. Javier Augusto Soto Ortega, M.D.

Dr. Soto graduated as a medical doctor and surgeon at the Pontifical Javeriana University, Bogotá, Colombia, Specialty Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, Buenos Aires Argentina. He then completed a fellowship of Hand Surgery at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons – Joondalup Hospital – Redimed, Perth, Western Australia. In addition, he has Fellowships as an observer with Drs. Joseph McCarthy NYU, at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and with Dr. James Stuzin Miami University and completed the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium March in 2012 and the Stryker Fellowship / Cleft Lip and Palate. He has completed a Basic course in Microsurgery, Universidad Cayetano Heredia, Lima, Peru and another on Lower Limb reconstruction flaps. With the Asociación Médica Argentina. It has publications on the experience with the removal of PIP implants and with the use of radiofrequency in liposuction for gincomastia. He also has publications on increasing minimally invasive calf’s augmentation, thigh lifts and contributing a chapter on the application of specific liposuction techniques by anatomical area and advanced fat grafting techniques in the book "Tecnica advanced liposuction" published by Bluggerman, Amar Schvelzon, et al and edited by NiKolay Serdev, 2011. He has participated in congresses in Colombia, Argentina, Mexico. He has carried out volunteer work in Bucaramanga, Colombia and has also worked with the Milwaukee Medical Mission between 2009-2013 and in Operation Smile in India. Dr. Soto has a very active and diverse private practice in Cartagena, Colombia. He is an expert in digital marketing and breast surgery especially in the subject of nanotextured and ergonomic implants. As a lecturer he is frequently invited to lecture nationally and internationally on topics of breast surgery, and digital marketing.

Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, M.D.

Colombia

Recognized certified plastic surgeon from Bogotá, Colombia. He obtained his medical degree from the Universidad del Rosario and did his plastic surgery residency at Rosario-Saint Joseph Hospital, in the city of Bogotá. He did additional training at In New York at Manhattan Eye and Ear with Dr Sherell Aston at New York University under Joseph McCarthy and Barry Zide. Dr. Hoyos is the inventor of High Definition Liposculpture (HDL) and Dynamic Definition Lipoplasty (4D) techniques and other advanced techniques that focus on body contouring.

In combination with cutting-edge technologies, Dr. Hoyos designed the High Definition Liposculpture. He has extensive experience as a teacher and trainer of VASER and other technologies such as Body Tite, Micro Aire, Renuvion. He is the author of several scientific articles that discuss innovative body contouring techniques, has contributed with many chapters in Plastic Surgery Books and recently published his own book on High Definition Liposculpturing. Dr. Hoyos is also the inventor of patented tools and devices in plastic surgery applications, a talented medical illustrator, painter and sculptor. He is also the organizer of TD ABS meeting y recently published his own book on Total Definer Atlas of Advanced Body Sculpting.

Dr. Humberto Uribe Morelli, M.D.

Dr. Humberto Uribe Morelli has his formal training in Aesthetic and Reconstructive PlasticSurgery, has a fellowship in Breast Reconstruction and a master’s degree in Microsurgery. He is the organizer of a scientific event called SAPS; (South American Plastic Surgery) that takes place every year in Colombia. He is founder of the HUM Breast Foundation and Medical Director of the Le Blanc Clinic. He has offices in Bogotá and Cucuta.
