Watch Online Recordings Until April 13th:

PANAMA City  • MARch 3-5, 2022

3 Days of PRESENtIAL, ONLINE and recorded meetings.
More than 12 live surgeries, CONFERENCeS, discussion PANELS and many edited surgeries.

Congress postponed due to the following reasons:

1. There are a lot of webinars and other online CME opportunities for free.

2. In fact, there are so many CME opportunities for free that we frequently register for one and end up not participating.

3. Statistics from online meetings show that events where the participant is required to be connected for more than 2 hours have a high rate of incomplete participation, because if we stay in our city, we surgeons tend to get busy taking care of other things during our day to day practice.

4. Paid online meetings have a poor registration and attendance rate.

5. For our commercial exhibitors and sponsors the online format is not attractive. The opportunity to establish productive business relationships with attendees is very limited or non-existent.

6. Traditionally Highlights of Plastic Surgery events are characterized by a high level of interaction between faculty and participants. The online format does not allow the type of interaction, discussion and participation that we are used to offering in our meetings.

7. The COVID-19 Pandemic is not over, in fact, around the world it is at its peak and worst moment of all. While we do have a vaccine available, for most of Latin America, vaccination will not be a reality by March 2021. This situation will prevent us from doing a meeting, the way we want, until march 2022.

Those already registered by March 2020 are automatically registered for March 2022. If you do not wish to participate in the 2022 event and want a refund, you can process your refund. Please review the Cancellation Policy.  For refunds and questions please send them in writing to

After 2 years of interruption of being unable to have physical presence meetings we are ready for the VI Highlights of Plastic Surgery which will be held in Panama City, Panama from March, 3-5, 2022. Panama has more than 85% of its population vaccinated against COVID-19, has the technical facilities and biosecurity protocols to hold this type of physical meeting in a safe way for all.

This meeting offers an exceptional learning opportunity during 3 days and more than 12 live surgeries with world renowned surgeons who are recognized for their teaching abilities.  There is a taste and learning option for everyone. You can come to Panama, enter the operating room or participate live from the auditorium. You can also watch the program online live or on demand from the comfort of your home or office. for up to 30 days!

One of the most special and unique opportunities this year will be a special registration fee that will allow you to enter the operating room all three days and all surgeries and interact one on one with the operating surgeons. Space is limited, so if you are interested, register early.

Like years past we have a superb faculty. Already confirmed doing facial surgeries we have Giovanni Botti y Mario Pelle Ceravolo from Italy.  Drs Froilán Páez from Venezuela y Nazim Cerkes current ISAPS president from Turkey will do two live rhinoplasties. Dr Dennis Hammond de USA, Marcelo Ono from Brazil, Charles Randquist from Sweden, Manuel Chacon from Costa Rica will be doing breast surgeries. Drs. Ricardo Ventura Herrera from the Dominican Republic, Hector Duran from México, Ricardo Babaitis from Argentina and Osvaldo Saldanha from Brazil will do body contouring surgery. Additionally, we will have Constantino Mendieta and Tim Marten from USA, Paolo Godoy from Brazil and Juan Pedro Verdugo from Mexico, Francisco Villegas from Colombia, and Linda Rincon and Bernardo Krulig from Venezuela presenting edited video surgeries and some other well-known names in plastic surgery. In addition to the live talks and the surgeries, lively discussions are a guarantee, something that has characterized the Highlights meetings from the beginning, lots of attendee-participant interaction.  In addition to a luxury scientific program, we will have an interesting social program to continue interacting with our peers, have fun, relax and make lots of new friends.

The congress will take place at the Pacific Center which opened doors in 2020. The Pacific center houses the Pacific Theater Auditorium with a capacity of 350.  The center also houses The Panama Clinic hospital and the Residence Inn hotel by Marriott which will be the headquarters of our meeting. The center also has a small shopping mall and lots of dining options for all tastes, all under one roof.
